In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill, Goodyear temporarily grounded its iconic fleet of airships. However, the blimps continued to serve as symbols of hope through Blimp Camp, an online program we launched to engage families in science and art activities during these uncertain times. We designed printable activities for parents to enjoy with their kids and created how-to stop-motion videos, all from the confines of our homes. Lillian Zhao and I collaborated on executing these instructional videos, pushing our creativity within the limitations imposed by the pandemic. Blimp Camp provided a creative and uplifting experience, helping families find joy and inspiration during a challenging year.
